Shame on me ... I have been teasing you with ramblings about this really hot series for three months now and there's still nothing here. What can I say ... Real Life™ doesn't always comply to self-scheduled deadlines. So, sorry about that slip. I will be joining creative forces with the ravishing KristinF to produce a steamy graphic novel (for lack of a better word) telling the adventures of a married couple on their vacation. It will feature 14 full-size pictures done by me with words by Kristin, so you better unbutton your shirt, this is gonna be SMOKIN' HOT! You're probably asking yourself now when this will be posted. Ah - good question. We are in the final stages of production, but I have lots of work piled up and next week I'll be gone for 14 days on vacation. So there's a good chance that this thing might not see the light of day before mid-march. Sorry. But trust me, it'll be worth the wait. In the meantime, you can use the contact-page to tell me how bad you want to see this. 08/02/2006

I took a couple of days off to spend a weekend at the baltic sea (and trying to come to terms with the fact that I just turned 40). Now I'm back and Vue is churning out renders by the hour. Prepare for a hot update any day now. Also, I have something special in the works that I'm not gonna tell you about yet ... Hah! I'm sooo sneaky! 11/01/2006
I got a new computer recently (PowerMac G5 Quad - yeah baby!) and after fiddling with it for some time, I can say that I'm duly impressed. Although I loved my old G4, it was showing its age when rendering at higher quality settings (some images in the gallery took over 30 hours to render!). This new rig goes through my scenes like the proverbial hot knife through butter! A benchmark-scene that would take 17 minutes before is now finished in 6 minutes! And Vue Esprit is only using two of the four available CPU cores. In real life though it doesn't make much of a difference, because now I'm cranking the quality settings way up and a typical render takes almost as long as it did before ... *sigh* Well, at least I can now play Doom 3 while rendering ... On an unrelated note: We have now the first guestbook-entry. Thanks for your kind words Jean-Luc. And to all the others - drop in and leave a comment there too. 05/01/2006

Hey, only a couple more clicks and we have reached the 1000th hit on this sorry excuse for a site. Nice. So I'm feeling generous and give you another gallery update. I also reluctantly added a guestbook for this site. You can find it at the contact page. It's certainly ugly as hell and - even worse - entirely in German, but there's nothing I can do about it just yet. I hope you'll use it anyway ... 12/11/2005
Another gallery update, this time five more recent pics that should appeal to the hardcore-lovers. I also should mention that I'm a bit annoyed about the lack of user-interaction here. Back from my holiday. Wow, I never had such a good time by just doing nothing ever before. I managed to render one image (it will be included in the next update) but that's about all I did computerwise. Other than that I sat in the sun and read some books (you know, these things that are made of paper with the tiny letters in them), something I hadn't done in a long time. It feels good to now and then go back into analogue-mode for a while. 18/09/2005

I'm considering putting up a guest book and/or forum for this site. My host offers these options and provides some templates as well. Unfortunately, those templates are so friggin' ugly that they'll give you eye-cancer if you look at them for more than five seconds and - even worse I don't know if and how they can be changed to something more in tune with the design for this site. 05/09/2005
Finally online again. Geez, I didn't realize how dependent I have become on the internet. And not being able to phone for four days is also something that can really shake your self-confidence about being a fully functional member of communication society ...
