KristinF | Originally of Thralldom-fame, she took Renderotica by storm with her kinky art. There's always some tongue-in-cheek element in her renders, no matter how steamy the sex-scene she is working on. Her art has only gotten better year after year and now she's really up there with the big guns. Recently she introduced her first character, Sonja. A worthy addition to any runtime folder.

Kaposer| You like nekkid girls with big boobs and even bigger guns? Then this Barcelona-based artist is just what the doctor ordered: big mammaries and big caliber rifles with great attention to detail, shown from interesting angles, and he's a nice guy too. (He's the only famous Poser Artist that I had a drink with ... uhm ... several drinks actually.) He also has a fantastic tutorial on his site about dynamic clothing in Poser (the only tutorial I read that really made sense to me).

Nemain Ravenwood | The undisputed Queen Of The Pin-Up. If you're only remotely interested in 3D-art, you will have seen her work somewhere. This girl is all over the place: She runs something like three paysites plus a couple of free ones and posts to various community galleries. And the stuff she comes up with can leave you speechless. Glamour models in kinky surroundings, rendered and postworked to perfection with a heavy emphasis on fetish themes.

Ginseng | It's a shame that this guy doesn't have his own website, so I linked to his gallery on RM instead (registration required). One of the most surreal and unique artists out there. His compositions always have one or two elements that leave you scratching your head, wondering if you have taken your medication this morning or not. But then you are too impressed with the technical perfection he applies to his renders to continue to worry about that ...

Nightcelt | Another incredibly talented artist with a very personal touch who is too lazy to put up a website (If he'd ask me, I'd do it in a minute!). Here every image tells a story. His rich creations defy description and lables, ranging from delicate compositions of tenderness to raunchy smut to just plain weirdness. And the postwork he applies is out of this world. He is one of the very few artists you can recognize instantly, even from a thumbnail. He also has his demented signature character Nicotinus for sale on Renderosity. I don't know what's going on in his mind, but it's probably dark in there and your feet stick to the ground ...

Grimmley | I don't know this guy and I've never talked to him, but his images on Renderotica (where his new stuff turns up way before he puts it on his own site) always blow me away for the sheer amount of detail they have. A lot of people tend to ignore the importance of backgrounds (me included) but not this guy. Also, his females always have the sexiest legs! (Site seems to be down at the moment)

Casette | Sweaty people having sweaty hardcore sex is what you'll find at this Spaniard's site. Lots of imaginatively posed messy oral and anal action. (I wouldn't even dare to try coming up with the kind of poses he does.)

Trekkiegrrrl | When you're just about to finish a render you suddenly realize that something is missing: some little element to make the background more realistic, like a coke-bottle, a tube of suntan, whatever. Little things that you never bothered to buy at the big Poser-stores. So what now? Enter Trekkiegrrrl. This talented propsmith from Denmark has everything you need to put the finishing touches on your project. Need a tuna can? An enema bottle? A used condom? Some dog-poop? A lasagna? Then head over to Trekkiegrrrl pronto. Most of her stuff is too good to be free, so go there before she realizes she could be charging money for this stuff.

:: Communities ::

Raunchy Minds | The nicest adult-3d-community out there. Lots of talented people gather in a very relaxed atmosphere, shoot the breeze and help each other out. No pissing-contests here.

Renderotica | Still the largest adult-3d-community around. A huge online-store with all the kinky stuff that Renderosity wouldn't dare to sell. Due to its size you may encounter the occasional asshole there, but that's just like real life, isn't it?

Renderosity | Whatever you're looking for, Renderosity probably has it. A gigantic store, huge galleries and something close to 400,000 members. They also have a somewhat puritan attitude when it comes to sex, so you won't find any racy stuff there.

:: Commercial ::

DAZ | What would any self-respecting digital libertine worth his unwholesome giggle be doing without the magnificent Victoria, the first female Poser-model that didn't look like a genetic experiment gone wrong? With all the myriad add-ons they sell for her (textures, clothing, hair, etc.) they can even afford to give the base-model away for free. (As every pusher knows, the first shot has to be free. People will always come back for more and then pay for it.) Of course they have other models as well.

e-frontier | Poor Poser has been handed around from one company to the next like a high-school-slut with VD. Right now it resides with the folks at e-frontier, who also have Shade in their portfolio, so maybe it will finally settle down there.

e-on | Makers of the Vue-product line. Originally a landscape generator (and it still excels in that area) many artists have adopted Vue as their main renderer because of the phenomenal light-engine. They also update their programs quite frequently (unlike other companies I could mention ... *cough* ... e-frontier ... *cough*)

cornucopia3D | This is (I think) a spin-off from e-on, where they sell dedicated objects, materials and atmospheres for Vue. They also have a forum and a user gallery. Very Vue-specific but nice.
