Honestly, there's nothing really interesting to say. I live in "Old Europe", I'm older than I'd like to be, I'm married and I have . Pretty exciting stuff, huh? What else is there? Let's see: I started messing with Poser™ in 2001 after seeing the raunchy (or rather depraved, perverted and totally unwholesome) art of Mr. X. Back then he had a short tutorial on his site that gave me (a bleeding newbie at the time) a first insight into how Poser worked and what could be done with it (and what couldn't). Soon after that I discovered Renderotica, at that time a liberal gathering place for open-minded adults who liked to create erotic art with Poser. Some of the talented people I met there, like KristinF and Kaposer, had a lasting effect on me and strenghtened my desire to become capable of creating art like them. I'm still a long way behind artists of that caliber, but I plan to catch up eventually ;-) It was KristinF who convinced me to adopt Vue as my main renderer and use Poser just for ... well ... posing. This is basically the way I work nowadays: I set up the scene in Poser (most often without the background - just the figures), import this into Vue and then start tweaking the background and materials (the part that is usually the most fun for me). Then it's render-abort-tweak-render-abort-tweak-render etc. until I'm finally satisfied (or inertia sets in - whichever comes first). | ||||||
